STEWARDS OF THE ENVIRONMENT

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is joined by local, Ocean County and state leaders and environmentalists during the recent signing of legislation to help protect and preserve Barnegat Bay. Joining the governor at the signing are Ocean County Freeholder Gerry P. Little, (right), Ocean Township (Waretown) Committeewoman Christina Wetter, state Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin, Barnegat Township Committeeman Alfonso Cirulli, 9th District Assembly members Di Anne C. Gove and Brian E. Rumpf, Lacey Township Mayor Gary Quinn, Beachwood Mayor Ron Jones, Stan Hales, Program Director of he Barnegat Bay Partnership and a host of other bay protection advocates. The signing took place at Skipper's Cove, Waretown, with the bay as the backdrop.
