OCEAN COUNTY CELEBRATES NATIONAL WOMEN’S HEALTH WEEK
TOMS RIVER - The Ocean County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women has partnered with Community Medical Center,
here, to present Living Well in 2012.
Living Well in 2012 is a free program being held in honor of National Women’s Health Week which runs from May 13 through May
19. Living Well in 2012 is scheduled to run from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 15 at the Clarion Inn, Route 37 West, here.
"Living Well in 2012 is sure to be an informative, fun filled evening to celebrate National Women’s Health Week," said Ocean
County Freeholder James F. Lacey, who serves as liaison to the Women’s Commission. "I am pleased we have partnered with
Community Medical Center and the county’s Women’s Health Month Committee in order to provide this great opportunity for
women and their friends to celebrate health, wellness and laughter."
The evening will include screenings and a health fair from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. Physician lectures will be
held from 6 to 7 p.m. Lecture topics include stroke awareness, advances in robotic surgery for women, and a laughter yoga
demonstration. Complimentary refreshments are included, as well as drawings and prizes.
